Online vehicle reservation terms and conditions

Thank you for choosing CarOutlet.es.

Once you have completed your reservation and paid the deposit, a member of our team will contact you to confirm the details of your order and, where required, request additional documentation or information necessary to complete the purchase process and comply with applicable legal and anti-money laundering regulations.

Reservation and payment schedule

The reservation deposit, plus transport fee where applicable, secures the vehicle and reserves it exclusively for you.

Your reservation includes a period of up to 10 days to collect the vehicle or arrange delivery to your selected address within mainland Spain or the Balearic Islands.

If collection or delivery is required beyond the initial 10-day period, the following payment schedule will apply:

• Collection within 11 days: 50% of amount due: (5.372,50 €)
• Collection within 21 days: 75% of amount due: (8.058,75 €)
• Collection after 30 days: 100% of amount due: (10,745 €)

Vehicles awaiting collection will be stored securely by CarOutlet.es at no additional charge.

Vehicle collection and delivery

All vehicles offered for sale by CarOutlet.es are inspected and prepared prior to delivery. Vehicles are sold in good working order and are accurately described to the best of our knowledge, taking into account their age, mileage and normal wear and tear.

Should a significant defect or damage be discovered upon collection or delivery that was not previously disclosed in the vehicle description, photographs or written communications, you may refuse delivery and request a review of the transaction.

Most vehicles are available for collection or delivery within 24 to 72 hours. However, certain vehicles may require additional preparation, servicing, registration processing or transportation arrangements, which may extend delivery times to between 5 and 12 working days.

If you have specific deadlines or travel arrangements, please contact us before placing your reservation.

Accepted payment methods

The remaining balance may be paid using one of the following methods:

• BANK TRANSFER: Payment may be made by bank transfer from a Spanish or international bank account. Funds must be cleared and visible in our account before the vehicle can be released.
• ONLINE BANK TRANSFER: Customers choosing to pay via online banking should initiate payment at least 48 hours before the agreed collection or delivery date to allow sufficient time for funds to clear.
• DEBIT AND CREDIT CARDS: We accept Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards through secure payment terminals and approved payment gateways. Card payments are subject to authorisation by the card issuer and applicable spending limits established by your bank.
• PAYPAL: Where available, payments may also be made through PayPal. PayPal transactions are subject to PayPal's own User Agreement, Buyer Protection policies and verification procedures. Any dispute, chargeback or claim initiated through PayPal will be handled in accordance with PayPal's terms and conditions.
• CASH: Spanish anti-fraud legislation restricts the use of cash payments in commercial transactions. At the time of purchase, the maximum cash payment accepted by CarOutlet.es is €1,000 for individuals or entities considered tax residents in Spain and up to €10,000 for private individuals who are not tax residents in Spain and who can provide satisfactory proof of non-resident status. These limits apply to the total value of the transaction and may be amended by law from time to time.

Since the United Kingdom left the European Union, payments originating from UK or other non-EU financial institutions may incur additional banking, exchange rate or payment processing costs.

To avoid unexpected charges, we recommend consulting your bank or payment provider before making payment.

Right to cancel

You may cancel your reservation and request a full refund of your deposit within 24 hours of placing your order.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to ventas@caroutlet.es within the 24-hour period calculated from the date and time shown on your reservation confirmation.

For urgent matters, we also recommend contacting our sales team by telephone during business hours.

Anti-money laundering and identity verification

CarOutlet.es reserves the right to request identification documents, proof of address, proof of funds and any additional information required to comply with Spanish and European anti-money laundering regulations before releasing a vehicle or accepting payment.

Failure to provide requested documentation may result in delays or cancellation of the transaction.

Limitation of liability

Any special conditions agreed in writing between the customer and CarOutlet.es may override the standard terms described above.

CarOutlet.es shall not be liable for travel expenses, accommodation costs, transport costs, loss of earnings or any other indirect or consequential losses arising from delays, cancellations or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Privacy and data protection

BYRNECARS SL processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

Personal data supplied during the reservation and purchase process will be used exclusively for the management of your enquiry, reservation, vehicle purchase, delivery arrangements, legal obligations and customer service activities.

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection by contacting CarOutlet.es through the contact details published on our website.
